About Nedre Hellem

Location

Nedre Hellem is situated in the municipality of Bjugn, 13 kilometers from the center Botngård.

You can reach Nedre Hellem by car or by boat from Trondheim.

If you arrive with boat we arrange to pick you up at Brekstad. Brekstad is the center of the municipality of Ørland which is located 30 kilometers from Nedre Hellem.

If you arrive by car you need to take a ferry. One of two alternatives is the ferry between Agdenes and Brekstad. The road from Trondheim, or nearby Trondheim, is along a fiordlandscape and is a nice drive.

The alternative is the ferry between Flakk and Rørvik. Flakk is located 15 kilometers from the citycenter of Trondheim. From Rørvik you cross the inner part of Fosen peninsula.

To get to Trondheim you can either drive or arrive by plane at Værnes airport approxmately 30 kilometers from Trondheim

Nedre Hellem is a small farm which was divided from the mainfarm in 1924. Since then it has been rebuilt three times. Once in 1972, in 1975 and last time in 2000 when the bathroom and hall was renovated. Most of the interior in the living house is from the seventies. One good example of this period is the wallpaper in some of the bedrooms.

The farm is located only 100 meters from the beach and has a nice view of the ocean and the sunset.

Behind the farm lays greyish coastal mountains with great view of the seaway and the pastoral landscape of Nes.

The living house has three bedrooms (6 beds), big livingroom, kitchen, bathroom and a veranda toward south.

Washinmachine, dishwasher, tv (two channels), microwave, no access to internet.

Distance to closest grocerystore is 4 kilometers.
